We are a Methodist church and our aims are to be a good neighbour to people in need and to challenge injustice. We are keen to work in partnerships with others who share a commitment to creating healthy communities, supporting good things, and caring for the vulnerable in our society.
We have been blessed and entrusted with extensive premises – originally built as a Sunday School – and we now enjoy them being used almost 100% by the local community.

We have been in existence at this location for over 90 years and are well known and valued by the local community. We have over 50 different organisations utilising the centre. The groups meeting on our premises range across the whole gamut of society –from groups offering support to people with health conditions (e.g. Parkinson’s, autism, diabetes, dementia) to those struggling with everyday living to those just wanting to provide social activities for people in our community.

Our centre is run almost entirely by volunteers drawn from within our church and the local community. We aim to keep the centre operational 6 days a week, 50 weeks a year to enable all the fantastic work to take place which groups using our premises deliver. We welcome all to use our Centre regardless of their age, ethnicity, ability etc.
